Chateau Chenonceau

Chateau Chenonceau is perhaps the most stately of France’s Loire Valley chateaus. Built in the 16th Century, the chateau is probably best known for its stunning design over the River Cher with the river flowing directly beneath. This year, the chateau is celebrating 500 years since the original buildings were constructed. For more info, visit the official website.
